I think buying land in or around New Orleans would be extremely profitable right now. A lot of people simply aren't going back and I am of the opinion they are the poorest of the poor that can't afford to and have nothing to go back to. Their land will sell cheap and someone will come along and probably with government grants build hotels or something. It is a shame because I think the poor are getting screwed again but that is exactly what I think is happening.
It really bothers me that New Orleans Mayor C. Ray Nagin, bought a home in Dallas. I am not sure I can explain why but it really makes me dislike him.
