Trust issues

I don't think I will ever get married again. I have some pretty serious trust issues. That doesn't mean I don't like men or that I am a man hater or that I can't love someone. It means I have trouble believing someone loves me. I think it could happen but at this point am pretty skeptical. I know I am worthy of love but that isn't the point. How do you know when some really loves you or just tells you that for their own personal gain? I would love to have someone that I could see casually for a long time before I was asked to trust.
